It was a Super weekend at the ROB CORCHNOY MEMORIAL at Camelback Mountain for the JFBB U12s as they proved yet again that they can ski in every type of condition!
Warm temps brought on slushy snow that created bumps and ruts for their first GS race of the season. The u12 boys showed what this team is all about and cheered every racer on from the top, while we had a fantastic showing from all our families that stayed for the podiums! It is true what all the other mountains say… “JFBB has the best team camaraderie!”
After the first run, JFBB had a whopping 9 girls make the flip.
Mackenzie, Gabby B, Riley, Reaghan, Josetta, Kylie. Anna, Cassidy, Erin

The boys also had a strong showing with 6 boys in the flip:
Jack, Noah, Kellan, Julian, Sawyer, Elliot

The second run was tough to set and tough to ski due to the ruts and bumps. Mackenzie J had the fastest second run with a 42.97 and secured her third podium this season with a First-place finish and was named Miss GS of Camelback.
Other top 30 Finishes:
Riley -8th
Reaghan-11th

We would like to send a huge shout out to Mama (Kristin) Cook who ran an excellent race in record timing!! Well done, Mama Cook! Special thanks to all the parents who skied through the conditions to cheer the team on and of course to our coaches for their hard work, dedication, and passion for our team!
Next Sunday, we look forward to our u10 boys and girls to join the team at Blue Mountain for another GS.
