In order to enhance our team protocols around COVID-19, we are implementing a daily health screening process. On the morning of each training session or race day prior to joining on the mountain, participants (via a parent or guardian) are required to answer Health Screening questions by clicking the link below.
Please check the “Send me a copy of my responses” box with a valid email account. This will be used as an additional proof of submission.
The CDC and British Columbia Provincial Health Officer both recently announced new guidelines shortening the isolation period for individuals who are exposed or test positive for COVID-19.
- Participants who have symptoms of COVID-19: must stay home and isolate for five days from the onset of symptoms, with the first day being Day 0. After Day 5, the participant may return if their symptoms are resolving, and they do not have a fever. Upon returning, participants must wear a well-fitting face covering around others, both indoors and outdoors, for an additional five days. Alternatively, a participant can return sooner if they test negative for COVID-19 and their symptoms resolve and they do not have a fever.
- Participants who test positive for COVID-19: must stay home and isolate for five days from the onset of symptoms (or for asymptomatic participants, for five days from the positive test result). After five days, participants may return if their symptoms are resolving, and they do not have a fever. Upon returning, participants must wear a well-fitting face covering around others, both indoors and outdoors, for five additional days.
- Participants who have had close contact with someone who has COVID-19: are not required to stay home if asymptomatic, unless ordered to quarantine by their provincial, state or local public health department. After close contact, participants should wear a well-fitting face covering around others, both indoors and outdoors, for 10 days.
