DEV TEAM Show Off Their Skills

This past Sunday, our Development Team came together for a FUN Race that truly lived up to its name. With 40 athletes ranging in age from 4 years old to 11+, the course was filled with excitement, determination, and plenty of proud smiles. For many of our youngest racers, this was their first time ever skiing through a set of gates, making the day especially memorable.

Although the sun shined, Mother Nature added a little extra challenge, as the air was cold and the wind picked up at times, but that didn’t slow our athletes down. The racers showed great focus and resilience, learning to push through the conditions while staying positive and supportive of one another. Coaches and parents cheered loudly from the sidelines, creating an encouraging atmosphere that helped every skier feel confident stepping into the course.

Most importantly, the FUN Race was about learning, confidence, and joy on snow. Whether it was crossing the finish line for the first time or mastering a new skill, every athlete walked away with a sense of accomplishment. We are incredibly proud of our Development Team for embracing the challenge and demonstrating fantastic sportsmanship. This event was a perfect reminder that ski racing is about growth, camaraderie, and having fun—no matter the weather.

And especially THANKS to the Foundation for the cookies and hot chocolate!
